A catastrophe such as this
What else can compare.
Our Father while we are experiencing these pressures and
anxieties
that have presented themselves in different ways, we remember in
Your Word, ''There is a time for everything ''[Ecclesiastes
Chapter 3]
We have experienced many disasters in our lifetime, and even
today,
many have been and continue to experience trauma in their
lives who
have lost everything they had possessed, homes, families
especially
as a result of hurricane Katrina..
With our finite eyes, please permit us all to see through Your
Eyes
Your eternal destiny for us as You teach us through this
situation. There
are many times we cry out from deep within our souls and humbly
ask, ''why?''
Our hearts cry out to you Lord in intercession
For all who suffer in their loss and despair,
Please see their heart-aches, comfort the weary, encourage the
discouraged,
Grant them another opportunity to serve You,
Your love through them to share...
Spiritual Renewal Upon America .. Remember All Veterans Memorial Day, May,2005
King Solomon prayed for forgiveness while he interceded in behalf
of Israel [2 Chronicles CHAPTER 6 THROUGH CHAPTER 7 VERSE15]. We
in this generation who know and serve the Lord our God , but sees our
Nation, America also we love, fast becoming a Nation where the fear,
love and respect of GOD is but almost non existent..
We ask your Divine forgiveness as we beseech your fire for Spiritual
Renewal to be spread upon America and even throughout
the World.
Strengthen our tongues to speak with vigor and with conviction Your
Message for salvation to all where You lead, and
with courage to live the teachings ascribed in Your Word and with
Your guidance , to live as YOU have so purposed in your Word for
each individual life , and family.
We acknowledge also in Your Word, PSALM 9:17 ''THE WICKED SHALL BE
TURNED INTO HELL AND ALL THE NATIONS
THAT
FORGET GOD''..
Let there be such a move of Your Grace and Power upon Your people for
your hand of guidance, that the Reverential Fear of You Lord will be
evident and will again prevail in your people, and that YOU, the God of
America ,THE ONLY TRUE GOD will be evidenced in America and throughout
the World.
Encourage us TO SPEAK..and TO LIVE Your Word with boldness and while
engaged in our daily activities, remind us and those who lead this
nation the quesion of the past, ''WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE ?''
Convict our spirits with enthusiasm that as'' FOR ME AND MY HOUSE,
WE WILL SERVE THE LORD''..
Let THE PEACE OF GOD rule in our hearts..
Permit THE WORD OF CHRIST dwell,[lead], in us richly in all
Wisdom, that we may Teach and Strengthen one another
in Psalms and Hymns singing with love in our hearts to you Lord.
Let our SPEECH be always with loving Grace, seasoned with Salt
that we may know how to answer every man.
I remember the title of the message that was delivered to we, the
high school graduation class reminding us to ''LOOK TO GOD'' ,
and I thank You Lord for this remembrance even now. I pray for the
Leaders of America for her citizens who have forgotten You,
that all will LOOK TO GOD for guidance....I remember reading KING
JEHOSOPHAT AND HIS ARMY WAS SURROUNDED BY
THE ENEMIES..''LORD, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, BUT OUR EYES ARE UPON
YOU''...
It is within these thoughts Lord that these prayers are expressed,
PLEASE GRANT TO OUR PRESIDENT AND LEADERS, THAT SPIRITUAL INSIGHT TO
MAKE HEAVENLY DECISIONS....OUR EYES ARE UPON YOU..

We trust in You with all our heart
leaning not to our individual thinking
we acknowledge your presence, while seeking to do your
will each day

In God's Word , Exodus 20th chapter, verse 12, and the only one of the 10 Commandments, Expressed with PROMISE...''HONOR [RESPECT]
YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER THAT YOUR DAYS MAY BE PROLONGED IN THE LAND, WHICH
THE LORD YOUR GOD HAS GIVEN...PROMISE AND A BLESSING.
If God's Word is to have a central place in the lives of our next
generation, then our generation must make it known by precept and example in
our daily living..
There are many true stories in God's Word about women who loved the Lord
and became role models for future generations.
Mother's Day is approaching and I would like to share some lessons that I
have received not only by my mother who taught me the 100th Psalm when I was
four..She died the year later, but also other mothers, namely my House
Mother
at the Orphanage in particular where I lived until a few years before
enlisting into the Navy. She was known as ''Ma WINDHAM'' by her 21 boys as
they came and went.I came to know her at age 5,almost 6..Ma disciplined
thoroughly but
she shared her heart that was full of God's love to each of us including
the 2 girls who lived there who helped with
kitchen chores and the like manner.....We, according to our ages ,were
little boys, middle size boys, and big boys.
There were 2 large round tables in the dining room to which we had our
certain place to sit, and before sitting , we each stood behind our chair
and quoted a Bible Verse before sitting.We could not quote the same verse
others said,
however we could, if we remembered, at the next meal...
Just to cite a few of the many lessons learned by precept and example
as taught by MA Windham...
1..I learned to love God's Word and through prayer, I came to know God as
my HEAVENLY FATHER THROUGH HIS SON JESUS.
2 Obedience ...ranked high with her and learning to follow her rules, I
was being made ready to serve the Lord..
3..To add one more of the many lessons learned..FAITH..PROVERBS 3 :
5-6.''.Trust in God and lean not to my own understanding, in all my
ways,acknowledge HIM AND HE will direct my paths'' even in the darkest and
uncertain EXPERIENCES to face, HE is there with me
2 Timothy 1 ;1-5, THE WORD OF GOD reveals that Timothy's Mother and
Grandmother demonstrated important life principles to be passed on..
What spiritual heritage are we passing on to this next generation through
our prayers and through our life experiences they see being lived through
us ..

DAYS OF UNCERTAINTY.... NEVER LOSE HOPE..
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ expresses with it Words of
Hope .... He Lives..
This event in history has turned Darkness into Light..
..With it has turned Despair into Hope...
.....Inaddition, turned Sorrow into Joy..
This event in history gives expression to the World, that God
is not dead and that the grave is not the end of man's hopes
and life, but answers the question asked of JOB..''If a man dies,
shall he live again?'' The resurrection answers..NOT IF..BUT WHEN..
Jesus said ..''I am the resurrection and the life, he that believes
in me though he is dead, shall live..and whosoever
lives and believes in me shall never die''
The resurrection is an event that hate could not defeat but
brought about the fulfillment of God's promise for all mankind.
John 3:16,17, and 36..
''God so loved the World that He gave His Only
Begotten Son that whosover believes in Him would
not perish, but have everlasting life...God sent
not His Son to condemn the world, but that the
world through His Son would be saved''..
Verse 36..''Whoever has the Son has life,but whoever doesn't
have the Son,the wrath of God abides on him''..
Jesus said..''Because I live, you will live also''..
The Easter Message has great significance to us today
He is the Foundation of our Faith..We die to self.
He is the Formula for our Lives..In Him we live..

Prayer For America
What does the Chaplains of US Of America do ,
Their duties are numberless, but to name a few,
Prayers of intercession with our Master, interceding
The path for America many are pleading.
Pleading that the will of God be done
As leaders seek to do their best
Formulating plans here at Home and Abroad
With God's leadership, this is the test.
YOU are very patient with us LORD
High moral standards from each of us You seek, in accord
Not only to observe, to keep the laws that You gave,
These are guide lines for mankind, many are depraved.
Many forget your teaching, their vows, This ,You do tell
These will be cast aside, who forget you, and cast into Hell
Please forgive us Lord, sins against you, we confess
We ask your forgiveness, deliverance,America's in a mess.
We have said verbally, America's allegiance is with THEE
And are reminded, your people in the past,THIS their plea
You reminded them quickly, This was a start
We say we love YOU,we hear ,WHERE IS YOUR HEART ?
We pray for America's leaders elected to such a task
To return Your Word,The Bible and Prayer to the Nation
To proclaim boldly and without apology, OUR MOTTO ,
''IN GOD WE TRUST''..What more is there to ask?

And with Clarity of words that we sing,

SOME THOUGHTS For Reflection.
1. Those who bring sunshine in the lives of others cannot
keep it from themselves.
2. The true measure of life is not years, but service and
usefulness.
3. We cannot ignore GOD, and be completely happy.
I love to pause along life's way,
to rest, to think, and to pray,
To meditate upon GOD'S WORD, HE SPEAKS,
can drive my cares away.
This path upon life's highway, I walk, LOOK.

So when I am rolled down the aisle,

4. We give away that which
we cannot keep for ourselves, so that we may obtain that which

1/25/2005 Prayers are the thoughts and the desires of the heart
that
we speak to our Creator God in our daily walk in
fellowship with HIM and allowing HIS WILL to be done
through us.
Each day I will seek...
Not only to live, but allowing Christ to live in and
through me.
To love others as if I were ''the others''..
To understand as to be understood...
To accept people with whom I disagree, especially
politically..
To say some things I do not like to say to others, I AM
SORRY...PLEASE FORGIVE ME..
To listen and to look for good in each person...
To be a friend to those who appear to be friendless..
To be the ears to those of a burdened heart..
To pray for America, to encourage and protect those who
bear the burden in far away land, knowledge and wisdom
to our President and Congress...
To help bear the pain with someone along the times of
sorrow. We all have experienced such happenings

11/18/2004 HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
The basis of true gratitude is not the absence of hardships, but
the consciousness of God's Presence and Grace [love].Some people
look at every circumstance of life as an occasion for pessimism.If
the sun shines, they complain of heat..If it rains, they express the
dreariness of the day In other words, ''As a rule a man's a fool'',
when it's hot, he wants it cool, when it's cooll , he wants it hot,
never satisfied with what he's got''
The Apostle Paul was certainly not this type
of person..He had learned the art of adjusting to new
situations and rejoicing in the opportunities they presented..On an
occasion, Paul had stated that he had discovered how to be content
in every circumstance..
And in PHILIPPIANS 4;11..''IT IS WRITTEN''NOT THAT I SPEAK OF
WANT, FOR I HAVE LEARNED THAT WHATEVER STATE [CONDITION ] I AM
THEREWITH TO BE CONTENT''
Traditionally, THANKSGIVING Day in America is a day of feasts.We sit
around the table and enjoy the enormous amount of food
prepared for us.But after the feast is over how often do we
share our reasons for Thanksgiving? How often do we offer a
prayer of gratitude for God's provisions? I think that it
would be good religious exercise every Thanksgiving, if not every
day to read in the 8th chapter of Deuteronomy, Moses's warning to
Isreal as the Nation stood on the brink of the 'Promised Land'
..''TAKE
HEED LEST WHEN YOU HAVE EATEN AND ARE FULL AND HAVE GOODLY HOUSES
AND LIVE IN THEM, AND WHEN YOUR HERDS AND FLOCKS MULTIPLY. AND
YOUR SILVER AND GOLD IS MULTIPLIED, AND YOUR HEART BE LIFTED UP AND
YOU FORGET THE LORD YOUR GOD AND YOU SAY IN YOUR HEART,'' MY
POWER AND THE MIGHT OF MY HAND HAVE GOTTEN ME THIS POWER AND
WEALTH, AND IT SHALL BE THAT AS THE NATIONS WHICH THE
LORD DESTROYED BEFORE YOUR FACE, SO SHALL YOU PERISH BECAUSE YOU
WOULDN'T BE OBEDIENT UNTO THE VOICE OF THE LORD YOUR GOD''....I
emphasize today what a warning to we in America as well to the
world, to the people of our communities, these words of Moses's are.
Worship occurs
whenever people recognize who our God is and want Him to know it,
Noah expressed his gratitude to God in the best way that he knew by
building altar..Today, we do not build altars and offer sacrifices
because over 2,000 years ago , God sent HIS only SON to be the
sacrifice for our sins and with the hope of eternal
deliverance.Therefore, we worship God through Jesus Christ His
Son.
David, as
he was inspired of God to write a spirit of dedication to God as he
expressed thanks for the privilege of worship in PSALM 100 [my
mother taught me when I was 4years old , she died a year
later]..Verse 2 '' Serve the Lord with gladness, Come before His
presence with singing...Keep in mind the word ''SERVE'' refers to
the proper carring out activites and ministeries related to
worship.''GLADNESS'' expresses the attitude of the people
should have in worship and service.and the way we participate in
worship, reflects our feeling as well as the reverential
respect that we express to a HOLY and RIGHTEOUS GOD.
God has given us the privilege of living in the world that HE
created ..The greatest blessing is that of salvation,[eternal life]
He transforms us into new personds, created by
the the new birth, instituded by God's Holy Spirit.
WE LOVE HIM BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US..
One day when Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem, He met 10 men who
had leprosy. When the men recognized Jesus, they begged Him to show
mercy on them and heal them, which HE did.. THEY WENT THEIR WAY.Only
one bothered to return to ''thank Jesus''...
How sad it is for mankind to forget to express gratitude
for what God has done for us...ME..
I SAY WITH THE PSALMIST...
'' OH THAT MEN WOULD PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS GOODNESS AND
FOR HIS WONDERFUL WORKS TO THE CHILDREN OF MEN''

Our Father and our God,
As in the past You have given us wisdom and courage to
face the unseen enemies of America, and we continue
to seek Your Divine Help in restoring us as a people, as
a Nation, A NATION UNDER GOD in Whom We Do Trust.
We ask your forgiveness, individually , and as a people
of this great nation, we like the Prodical son who demanded his
own way, left the presence of his father,
later full of guilt and shame, returned and asked forgiveness...We
too, like King David,[PSALM 51] , HAVE
lost the joy of YOUR presence, and America cries out,
Restore us again unto the joy, relationship and fellowship we once
had..
Remembering that as it
is written,''The Nation that forgets God will be turned
into hell''.
We ask Your Comforting ARMS to be around our military
families as we share their sorrow...Remembering Your
promise OF NOT FORSAKING US''..
We ask YOUR DIVINE GUIDANCE, individually and for
America..YOU LORD ,are our Compass...our CHART..

Let not my ailing heart forget that you hear every prayer
Remind me that what I do or fail to do
That there is still hope for me, my hope is in You.
Let not my eyes be blinded by some folly that I may have done
But help me to ask for forgiveness before the setting of the sun
Inspire me to put my feelings, when wronged, upon a hidden shelf,

Grant me the restful sleep, needed throughout the year
Your wisdom when awake, your hand of love to guide me

A..What makes a
Nation great ? What has made this Nation great in the
past?
1 It is time to
check the stitches to discover what it is that is leading its people to
immorality
2It Is time to check
the stitches that the Nation was founded and built upon
3 It is time tocheck
the stitches of freedom to see if our freedom in America has become that
which
we take forgranted..
B There is a sense
of God's judgement that hangs over America as God's time clock ticks away.

EXALTS A NATION, BUT SIN IS A REPROACH TO ANY PEOPLE '
A In the truest
sense, freedom is something that belongs to every man..however, given by
God, and
since freedom is a
is a gift from God, it means ultimately, we are responsible to God.
FREEDOM..The
dictionary defines it as the state of 'being free'...It gives as a synonymn
of freedom
'unrestraint'..This implies that one is free to do as one pleases..One of
the most turbelent
periods in Hebrew
history is described 'When there was no king in Isreal, everyman did
what was right in their own eyes'..doing as he pleased...
a..Freedom without
responsibility is anarchy and this leads to chaos, ruin and even death..
b..We in America
needs to learn this lesson..Freedom balanced by responsibility..

Franklin..When he came out of the 'Constitutional Convention', someone
asked,'Mr. Franklin,
' What have you given us ?'..briefly and bluntly, he replied 'Freedom,
if you can
keep it.'...The question for us today..Do we
have the moral and spiritual
courage andstamina to pay the price to keep

not license to do as one chooses to do anything one's lower nature
wishes, but
Freedom is disciplined by one's personal experience with Christ and by His
love for spiritual

HAS MADE US FREE, AND BE NOT ENTANGLED AGAIN WITH THE
YOKE OF BONDAGE '.
B It is my prayer
that as we remember our Nation's Independence and freedom, it is with
urgency
that
all Americans to raise our voices in prayers and dedication to God and to
recommit ourselves
to the
High ideals and dreams with desires that America was
founded..dedicating ourselves to a
renewal
of our faith in God..What our Forefathers began, we must work to continue to
fulfill this
vision
ONE NATION UNDER GOD.
C Remembering
President Eisenhower's inauguration and pointing his
finger to a verse of Scripture..2 Chronicles 7 : 14 ' IF MY PEOPLE , WHICH
ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, SHALL HUMBLE THEMSELVES, AND PRAY, AND TURN FROM
THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN WILL
I HEAR FROM HEAVEN,
AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN, AND WILL HEAL THEIR LAND'...
Remembering also in the Old Testament this was the response to
the request from one of Isreal's King.'s. King Soloman, who sought God's
direction for the people.
Thank You Lord for America and we too continue to seek your Divine guidance
as did our leaders
in the past...Truly
GOD BLESS AMERICA, help us to be worthy and grateful of such blessings.

03/28/03 As written in Ecclesiastes, 'To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under Heaven. A time of war, and a time of peace'. Our Father, as we have entered into this season
of war, we ask for your Divine presence and protection for our troops and
the nations that stand along with us, to end the inpending dangers posed to
the world by Saddam Hussein and forgoing tyranny of his government and his
military upon innocent people. Remembering 'That for evil to triumph, it is
only necessary for free people to do nothing.
We beseech You Lord and seek Your reservoir of strength and
wisdom to carry out this mission of liberation..to bring liberty to the
people of Iraq..to free them from their oppression.
Help us that have served our Nation in the past as well as those who
presently' stand guard 'and position themselves at 'general quarters', that
in all facets to courageously give our very best in supporting our men and
women who are in harms way.
Increase our faith that our Nation, America, will be 'THE GOD OF OUR
FATHERS, as wasin the past..'A NATION UNDER GOD'. 'IN HIM WE DO TRUST'.
In the crucial days ahead , we pray strength be given our
troops amid sacrifice..Encouragement to those families at home..We pray for
those who are hurting, though no fault of their own, and perhaps through all
these courageous acts toward freedom for these depressed peoples will bring
liberty and justice for all.

We do indeed live in an age when there is a need for a Heaven Sent
Revival, not only in
America, but for the whole world...THAT GOD'S PEOPLE RETURN TO
HIM..
The way to
Spiritual Renewal[ and we all need it] is found in God's Word...Among
many verses , I am reminded so often of 2 CHRONICLES 7; 14
when The Lord spoke to King Solomon[ read verses 1- 22].
verse 14 'IF MY PEOPLE , WHICH ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, SHALL HUMBLE
THEMSELVES AND PRAY ,AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS,
THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN, AND
WILL HEAL THEIR LAND'..
While this promise was originally given to Solomon regarding the people
of Isreal,it
is certainly applicable to all we who call upon the Lord in Repentance
and Faith..These verses stand as a high expression of God's loving
readiness to hear the prayers of a repentant people.

These thoughts are in regards to and for our servicemen who are being
deployed as
they respond to the trouble spots in iraq and what could possibly
happen in korea also. Some
requests for special prayers from families whose loved
ones are in the gap and have been
responded to their requests... The over reaching purpose for
special prayer Spiritually, is that we [christians], people in this
world have forgotten God our Creator, and there is a tremendous need to
remember and return to Him...This is one main reason the world faces
such turmoil today.

Lord, Please hold our troops in Your protecting and loving hands
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families..
As we face the uncertainties in this present age confronting this
Nation and all the World..
Help us to seek Your guidance of leadership.
Increase our faith in You especially when our faith in times like these,
appears to decline.

12/22/02 Lord Jesus, at this joyous season, when we remember Your Birth,
Flood each heart with kindness, as it spreads through all the Earth,
Permit the Star, the wise men followed, light Mankind's paths again,
And the song the Angels sang that woke the shepherds,
Still abide, in the hearts of men.....
'GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST,
PEACE ON EARTH, GOODWILL TO MEN'.
What is needed...
What can I give you, as poor as I am

Please guide and protect the military, as they go into harms way

We thank You for this Nation Lord
the good 'ole U S of A
and realize thatwhile 'She' isn't perfect
Your help, we ask each day
To bring your people back to You
we have strayed too long
Our families, our Nation Lord, bring us back
to where we belong
To a Nation ..'Under God'
that our forefathers did show and tell
Clearly as one reads or hears Your Word
'Any Nation / People forgetting God
will be turned into Hell..

We pray for America and for those who lead, we petition for our families,
For those in danger, your Divine protection and Wisdom..
These and others, we do plead.
Forgive us, please Father, as a people and Nation, we have strayed
from your presence in our living, Your Divine Word, we have betrayed.
We, with earnestness, do seek again to be under the leadership of God
A desire with purpose, as was the settling of this land, the Pioneers
did trod.
Deliver us from sorrow of pain and of terror. We ask Your Divine guidance
in decisions to be made. This without error.
We ask for Your Light from above. Spiritual darkness we must flee
Mankind is in darkness of sin. This You agree.
In earnestness and with humbleness of heart, Lord
These are a 'must'
Return us to You, A Nation under God, with Your leadership
And we as your people, that You can trust... Jesus Name we

Help me to remove from my mind
every thought or opinion which You would not
sanction. Every feeling from my
heart which You would not approve.Grant that I
may spend the day gladly
working with You according to Your will. Help me,just
for today and be with me in it.
In the long hours of work, that i may not be weary
or slack in serving You..In
conversations, that they may not be to me, occasions
of uncharitableness..In the
days worries and disappointments, that I may be
patient with myself and with
those around me..In moments of fatigue and illness,
that i may be mindful of others
around me than of myself..Intemptations, that i may be
generous and loyal, so that
when the day is over, i may lay it at Your feet, with
its successes which are all
Yours, and its failures which are all my own, and feel
that life is real and peaceful
and blessed, when spent with You as the guest of

reason of this great multitude, for the
battle is not your's
but God's.
17. You shall not need to fight in this battle, position yourselves,
Stand still and see the salvation of the
Lord with you'..

against them,
For the Lord will be with you.'
SOLUTION
Without Faith, it is impossible to please HIM for he that come
comes to GOD must believe that HE is.. and rewarder

planting with a shovel [
the tiller was in the shop]..
NEVER ALONE
You give me the strength
to do this task
You guide me along
the path we travel each day
What more do I ask..
Sometimes I hurt, and
sometimes I groan
and in my spirit, and in my
heart, Lord,
I realize, that I am not
alone...
this included you and
me..
Over 2 THOUSAND years ago, in a Garden named Gethsemene
You were hurting, and with
agony
in Your soul for all
mankind,,
this included you and me..
I remember that you had
asked some friends,
to go to the garden to
pray,
perhaps to give
encouragement to you,
and yes, for them to watch
and pray..
You were left alone,
as You went aside to pray,
The Father sent an angel
to minister encouragement,
I wonder , what he did
say...
I quickly remember words of
encouragement,
The Angel to Mary and
others at your tomb, he did speak
'JESUS IS NOT HERE,HE IS
RISEN' as He had said,
'Why do you seek..
You are my Savior, my
Lord,
MY Rock, and my Friend,
You are my Encourager,
Jesus,
Whatever situation, I find
myself in..
Never alone Lord, these
words
long ago, You had spake,
'I'LL be with you always,
nor will I forsake'..
Never alone..
You give me strength day by
day
W'hy Lord, if You weren't
with me,
I'Dsimply decay...
So, thank you Jesus, for
this life You did give,
and in your presence
whereever I go, help me to live,
In Your Word, and by your
life, You have shown,
We walk by faith with you
each day,
We never walk alone...

cannot say OUR if my religion has no room for other and their needs I can not say FATHER if i do not
demonstrate this relationship in my daily living.
I can not say WHO ART IN
HEAVEN if all my interests are in earthly things.
I cannot say HALLOWED BE THY NAME ,
if I , who are called to bear His NAME , am not holy
I cannot say THY KINGDOM COME
if i am unwilling to give up my own
desires and accept the righteous reign of God
I cannot say THY WILL BE DONE
if i am unwilling or resentful of having
it in my life
I cannot say ON EARTH AS IT IS IN
HEAVEN unless i am truly ready to give myself to His service on
this earth
I cannot say GIVE US THIS DAY OUR
DAILY BREAD without expending an honest effort for it, or by
ignoring the genuine needs of others
I cannot say FORGIVE US OUR
TRESPASSES AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US if
i continue to harbor a grudge
against anyone
I cannot say LEAD US NOT INTO
TEMPTATION if i deliberately choose to remain in a situation here I
am likely to be tempted
I cannot say DELIVER US FROM EVIL if
i am not prepared to fight in the spiritual realm with the
weapon of Prayer
I cannot say THINE IS THE KINGDOM
if i do not give the KING the disciplined obedience of a loyal
subject
I cannot say THINE IS THE POWER if i
fear what my neighbors and friends
say or do
I cannot say THINE IS THE GLORY
if i am seeking my own glory first I cannot say FOREVER if i
am too anxious about each day's events
I cannot say AMEN unless
i honestly can say.....[cost what it may]...
